Map tools, free in the browser

Sixty-four small tools on one map: find out where you are, measure distances and drive times, convert coordinates, make and colour maps, look up ZIP codes and cities, follow the sun and the moon, and see the lines every atlas draws. No account, no key, nothing installed.

Where am I

One press on the locate button, and the map says which country, state, county, city or ZIP code you are in.

Measure and route

Distances, areas, radii, bearings and drive times, on the sphere or on the road network.

Coordinates

Convert between addresses and coordinates, and between the formats coordinates come in.

Map makers

Draw, pin, paint and colour your own map, or bring a file and see it.

Lookups

Search the built-in ZIP code, county, city and national park data around a point.

Sun, moon, elevation and time

Sunrise, sun and moon positions, day and night, elevation and time zones for any place.

Reference lines

The lines every atlas draws, with what they mean and how far away they are.

Distances and areas follow the km / miles switch at the top, and the choice is remembered. Tools that need a place or an address ask Waymorphic Map's own search on the tile domain; tools that need a route or an elevation ask a public OpenStreetMap service (Valhalla); everything else is computed in your browser from data bundled with the page. Nothing you type or draw leaves your browser except those requests.
